July Weekly Market Snapshot #4

If you thought last weekend's auction clearance results were fantastic, this weekend's clearance rate for Sydney property was even better - reaching a comforting high of 81.4 per cent.
There were 206 homes sold throughout the New South Wales capital this past weekend, according to statistics released by the Australian Property Monitors.
A three bedroom house in Balmain sold last weekend for a whopping $1,285,000 - a fantastic price for Inner West real estate in Sydney.
Two properties in Rozelle also went under the hammer, with each selling in for over $1,000,000 - one reaching $1,010,000 and the other skyrocketing to $1,535,000.
Furthermore, a piece of Leichhardt real estate sold on Skelton Street for $1,170,000, which rounds out the auction clearance results in Sydney's Inner West real estate market this weekend.
These results come after the Australian Bureau of Statistics announcement last week that there was a record $3.9 billion for residential investor loans approved during May in the state.
