Sydney's real estate market has started August with a bang, with a citywide total of 213 houses being sold over the weekend (August 3) to bring the New South Wales capital clearance rate to a huge 81 per cent.

The sales in Sydney's Inner West real estate have also been extremely good. A one bedroom piece of Balmain property on Church Road was sold by Coopers Agency for a huge $825,000.

Anyone looking at selling their Rozelle real estate could be interested to hear that a two bedroom home sold for $808,500 at auction over the weekend - a fantastic result for a great western suburb!

Three Lilyfield properties also went under the hammer, resulting in three sales - the highest of which reaped a brilliant $1,100,000 for a four bedroom home.
