John holds a certificate 4 in workplace training & assessment and spent four years as a consultant & trainer to the largest real estate franchise in Australasia.
He focuses strongly on building relationships with property owners, finding better efficiencies, improving staff skill and maximizing the growth of properties under management.
Working inside some of Sydney’s finest property management businesses has enabled John to understand what it takes to meet client’s expectations and exceed them.
John is the current President of The Property Owners Association of NSW, a not for profit lobbying group, advisory service & voice for property owners within the NSW government. He is also an executive committee member of the Property Management Chapter of The Real Estate Institute of NSW implementing best practices for property managers and real estate agency businesses.
Major reform in NSW tenancy legislation commenced in 2005. The controversial reform paper saw John apply his passion for the property management industry in lobbying for reforms which could have had a devastating effect on the future of property investment in NSW.
The New Residential Tenancy Act took effect in NSW in January 2011 in what is now a more balanced approach between landlords and tenants.
