July Weekly Market Snap Shot #3

The City of Sydney has recorded another particularly strong auction clearance rate, with 81 per cent of the 245 properties set to go to auction last week finding a buyer.

Just over 200 homes were sold in total, according to Australian Property Monitors, with a number of them coming from the highly popular Inner West region.

The big news coming out of the last week is that a three bedroom property in Five Dock was sold by Cooper's Agency prior to auction for $765,000 - a fantastic result for everyone involved!

A two bedroom Balmain property on Clifton Street was also sold prior to auction for $640,000, while a three bedroom in Birchgrove was sold prior with the price not disclosed.

Two Lilyfield properties were set to go under the hammer. One was sold prior to auction for an undisclosed price, while the other was passed in, and eventually sold for $820,000.

In Rozelle, a two bedroom house on Murdoch Street went under the hammer and sold for $835,000, and a four bedroom in Drummoyne was sold prior to auction for $1,150,000 to round off a strong week for Inner West real estate.
