November Market Snapshot #2

Riding the high from last month's end of year property heatwave, Sydney has continued to experience a second great weekend of auction sales results which are set to continue for the rest of the year - which could be good news for buyers and sellers alike.

The market rose to a new height last week, recording an auction clearance rate of 84 per cent over the course of the weekend, with 394 properties selling out of the 448 originally put up for sale, according to Australian Property Monitors (APM).

With a median price of $890,000, and a total sales amount of $353,034,100, now could be a great time to investigate selling your own property in Sydney's Inner West suburbs, especially following the recent successes of the market.

For example, there were five Balmain properties sold over the course of the weekend, with three selling for over $1,000,000, including a four bedroom home on Elliot Street which sold for an impressive $1,780,000.

While slightly more subdued, there were two successful sales of property in Annandale, including a three-bedroom home on Nelson street netting $1,750,000 - passing the cities overall median house price for the week.

But it isn't only the sellers reaping all the rewards, with a number of opportunities popping up across the region for buyers to secure great property prospects with ease.

Now could be a great time to look into the properties available throughout Sydney's Inner West and find something perfect for you and your real estate goals.

For example, this magical little three-bedroom home in Rozelle could be great for young professionals or couples alike. Less than one kilometre from local amenities and schools, this quaint little property could be a great first home for any young Australians investigating the area.
