Celebrate Christmas with a new home in Sydney's Inner West suburbs

With Christmas a mere six weeks away, now could be the perfect time to begin turning your thoughts towards the most festive season of the year.
And what better way to celebrate than securing new property and starting the new year with your very own slice of Sydney's Inner West real estate market.
In fact, gearing up to purchase property could be a great idea in the coming weeks, as Matt Cooper from Coopers Agency highlights the increasing activity in the local market from buyers looking to secure a new home for the festive season.
"The past week has seen some good results, with increase in buyer inspections and offers made on a number of our properties," said Mr Cooper in a November 13 interview.
"A good reflection of this has been experienced in the broader market, with the reported auction numbers increasing along with the clearance rates across the Inner West market."
Mr Cooper believes that Christmas will be a period of catch up for the market, with a lot of people preparing for 2014. He expects the majority of the properties on the market at the moment to sell before the New Year.
However, property buyers aren't the only ones with an optimistic projection for the market. Mr Cooper said vendors in the Inner West would do well to wait until next year before listing their property on the market.
"We feel our clients who choose to sell early in the New Year will benefit from built-up buyer demand and lack of property on the market," said Mr Cooper.
With the Sydney real estate market expected to retain its strength heading into 2014, this could be a great opportunity for any potential vendors in the area to secure the best possible return on their property investment.
